Sioux Chief 555-23 TwinTalon Double-Duty Drive Hook

Sioux Chief’s 555 TwinTalon CTS tube fasteners shall be used where necessary to secure CTS tube in piping system. Fastener shall be 100% corrosion proof and U.V. resistant. Fastener shall be impact resistant to 0 degrees F, and be able to withstand continuous temperatures up to 160°F. Fastener shall include a pre-loaded rust-resistant, continuous ring shank nail and designed to avoid tube damage if nail is overdriven. Fastener shall be compatible with copper, PEX or CPVC tube.

Features

• 555-23 series affixes 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" nominal tube (copper or plastic) and 1/2" Sch. 40 IPS pipe (steel or plastic)
• Available with shorter nail for radiant heat, nail-up applications. 1-5/8" nail won’t penetrate 3/4" floors
• Compatible with copper, PEX and CPVC.
• Materials
  • Fastener body: UV-resistant, high density black polyethylene; 100% corrosion proof
  • Nail: #7 x 2⅛" Zinc-plated, continuous ring shank
  • Screw: Rust resistant, zinc-plated Phillips pan head, self-drilling tip
• Installation: Snap onto 1/2" or 3/4" CTS tube. Be sure to follow spacing requirements of national and local plumbing codes.
