Installing the receiver, took a little bit of time, had to locate the control board terminal. But once plugged in, thermostat connected immediately. Used stat presets for temperature and finally am using the heat pump correctly. No power surge ramp ups, slow constant temperature control. Basement now maintains comfortable temperature, no more heat sink!
