I've tried for hours to get this pair, the wifi fails every time to link up with heater, I am unable to setup recirculation schedule which is the REASON I bought this hunk of garbage.

Had a bunch of issues with setup but it turned out they were having a server issue. That was about 3 hours of my life I won’t get back. App is super basic and there’s no hot button functionality unless you install the hot button kit also.

Nice unit with clear instructions. Had a problem with connectivity with the app. Navien tech support was great and they decided to exchange it with the NaviLink Lite. The Lite connected with the app perfectly. Had I not had that problem, I would have given 5 stars.

I realized that I needed a remotely accessible way to monitor my combination boiler/water heater. The NaviLink was the best option for me. It's compact, expandable and offers the features I want. But, combination boilers are complex machines with very sensitive controls. I wanted to be 100% sure that I made no mistakes when installing. Imagine my frustration when I could not decipher the instructions to be certain I was connecting the control module to the proper location on the boiler's circuit board. I consulted the doc that came with the controller, the boiler manuals, and online at Navien. There was one place (ONE!) in the provided documentation where I found the key. It consisted of (I think 3 words) that were located nowhere else. Please, Navien, make clearer installation instructions for your accessories.

NaviLink Wi-Fi Control for NPE, NCB and NHB Series

Navilink works as expected.

The NaviLink was pretty straightforward to set up, although it is a little confusing if just using an network cable vs. Wifi (in fact, I probably should have gotten the non-WiFi version). Once up, it works well. The Navien App however could use a lot of improvement, so be prepared for that ;-)
