After many years of use, my Moen tub/shower valve became very hard to operate and would not shut off completely.
I replaced the original brass cartridge with a new 1225B plastic cartridge and renewed the life and operation of the valve body.
I could not have accomplished this repair without using the Moen cartridge removal tool!
