This was the same part number as the unit I replaced. The pump cord was just a regular extension cord type. My unit’s wires both pump and motor index into slots on the cooler wall. If you have the abilities needed to replace a part like this the fix is easy. I opened the case and swapped out the old pump cord. The wires mount with spade connectors so it was easy to pull the old ones off and push on the new ones. Quick 5 min fix. I have 3 of these Champion units in rentals and all 3 have different cord configurations. No brainer to spend $100 on the part vs $1000 for a new unit. I have installed anodes in all 3 and this makes the metal shells last many years. The controller failure is the most common issue I have with these Champion coolers and have had to replace them on each cooler over the years. Supply Stop had the best price and it was shipped quickly. Next time on fails I won’t hesitate to buy from them.

I am glad I was able to fix my swamp cooler with just a little effort. The only problem is the remote seems to only work if it’s about 6” away from the control. It does not work from across the room.

A little mistake in the delivery but all was resolved quickly.

Shipping was fast and I did not realize it but they are local to me.

We live in the desert where summertime temperatures are in the triple digits, so I bought a Master Cool Mobile Portable Swamp Cooler back in 2011 to help make our time outside more enjoyable. It has been the workhorse for keeping our otherwise beautiful summers nicer and cooler. Over the years I have replaced the mats, pump, belt and motor and now the remote-control sensor died and I was thinking, good luck finding a plug N Play replacement.
