NO ELECTRICITY NEEDED. Cozy Wall Furnace vents through an outside wall behind the heater. Sealed combustion unit draws air from outside and exhausts back to outside. It draws no air from the room, puts no exhaust into the room. The burner is all stainless steel, with 10 year warranty on burner and sealed combustion unit. Finish is WHITE. Push button spark pilot lighting. This model has a wall mounted thermostat for even room temperature.

IMPORTANT HIGH ALTITUDE INFORMATION – BURNER ORIFICE

This appliance is orificed at the factory for elevations up to 2,000 ft.

If installed above 2,000 ft., the BTU input must be reduced 4% per 1,000 ft. See Fig 11: Specific Elevations orifice chart for the proper drill bit size to be used for your specific elevation. An optional High Altitude Kit is recommended. The specified bit needed should be locally sourced at your well stocked hardware store. Installation and orifice changes must be completed by a qualified installer or service technician.

AC fan kit is available for CDV256 and CDV306, or add two DC MUFFIN fans for much lower power use if additional air circulation is desired.

The 9″ diameter vent pipe fits walls 5″ to 9″ thick; optional extension kit goes to 15″ thick. Overall efficiency is about 66%.
