The Watts 7100279 is a 10-inch slim-line residential filter housing designed to provide dependable filtration performance in household water systems. Built from durable, FDA-grade polypropylene with a smooth blue sump and black cap, this housing is resistant to many aggressive chemicals and built with thick, ribbed walls for added strength. It is intended for use with standard 10-inch slim-line filter cartridges (sold separately) and features a pressure relief valve for easier filter changes. The buttress-threaded lid ensures a secure seal with minimal risk of leaks.
